We wrote recently about the importance of Christians taking a stand for truth. In our restless age, more people are asking questions of eternal significance—but are our churches prepared to provide faithful answers? We also see a growing opposition to the gospel reacting to this increased openness to biblical truth—but are God’s people ready to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3)?
As chairman of Ligonier, I am convinced that Dr. R.C. Sproul established a ministry that is uniquely effective in addressing these needs.
R.C. was both captivating and courageous as a teacher of the historic Christian faith. By God’s grace, he knew how to make deep theological truths accessible to all, and he refused to back down when the gospel was at stake. Ligonier’s unparalleled library of discipleship material shares this resolute character, empowering Christians to grow in godliness and bear bold witness to the gospel.
Through your prayerful generosity, trusted Bible teaching is reaching across regions and generations to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12). Yet the need remains great.
