Two Newly Dubbed Teaching Series in Hindi
Loved by God from Dr. R.C. Sproul and Who Is the Holy Spirit? from Dr. Sinclair Ferguson are now available to stream on Ligonier’s dedicated Hindi website. More than 600 million people speak Hindi, making it the third most-spoken language in the world and the most-spoken language in India. Please pray that these Hindi-dubbed teaching series will reach a wide audience.
Newly Translated Crucial Questions Booklets
Nepali editions of Dr. Sproul’s Crucial Questions titles What Is the Gospel? and Who Is the Holy Spirit? have been released. Nepal is a Hindu-majority country with a small but growing Christian population. Additionally, What Is Faith? has been released in Amharic, making it Ligonier’s first publication in this East African language. Please pray that these booklets will encourage and equip Christians in both Ethiopia and Nepal.
The Basics of the Christian Life: Now Available in Mandarin Chinese and Hindi
Dr. Ferguson’s teaching series The Basics of the Christian Life has been dubbed in Mandarin Chinese and Hindi. In total, these languages are spoken by 1.7 billion people worldwide. Join us in praying that God will use these messages to strengthen growing Christians in their faith.
New Dedicated-Language Websites in Russian and Ukrainian
Ligonier has launched new online outreaches in Russian (ru.Ligonier.org) and in Ukrainian (uk.Ligonier.org), providing an online library of trustworthy teaching and discipleship materials to more than 260 million people who speak these languages. Read more about these outreaches in an update released earlier this year.
Dr. Sproul’s Book on Abortion: Now Available in Bulgarian
Dr. Sproul’s book Abortion has been translated into Bulgarian, the first-ever translated edition of this title. Bulgaria is a small former Soviet bloc nation in Eastern Europe with a high abortion rate, and we are partnering with publishers seeking to promote teaching that highlights the sanctity of life.
Living for God’s Glory: Now Available in Romanian
Dr. Joel Beeke’s book Living for God’s Glory: An Introduction to Calvinism was recently published in Romanian. Around ten percent of the population of Romania, a former Soviet country in eastern Europe, is now thought to be Protestant. Please pray that this book would encourage Christians and churches in Romania—and neighboring Moldova—as they seek to live for God’s glory.
Sammy and His Shepherd: Now Available in Spanish
The Spanish edition of Susan Hunt’s children’s title Sammy and His Shepherd has recently been released. With this delightful portrayal of Psalm 23 from the point of view of a sheep named Sammy, Ligonier’s Spanish children’s books collection is now complete.
