You’re Helping to Take God’s Truth to the Nations
The world contains nearly eight billion people who live in hundreds of different countries and speak thousands of languages. Yet everyone on earth shares a need that underlies all others: people everywhere need to know who God is. Following R.C. Sproul’s bold vision for global outreach, Ligonier Ministries is translating trustworthy Bible teaching into the most-spoken languages on earth and taking the truth of God to the nations. Much work remains to be done.
When a man named Hector moved in 2003 from Puerto Rico to Florida, he could barely speak English. A friend gave him the English edition of R.C. Sproul’s book Chosen by God, and Hector did everything he could to bring this teaching into his own language:
“I translated that book paragraph by paragraph, page by page, just trying to understand the doctrines of grace. I learned English because of R.C. Sproul, and he has blessed me with the Word of God. These resources helped me to stand firm on my faith and in the right doctrine—the holiness of God and the authority of the Bible. Even at that time, it was not so common to find good materials in Spanish. But now, we even have the Reformation Study Bible in Spanish! It is such a blessing for the Latin American community.”
