Encore Presentation of Last Year’s Reformation 500 Celebration
1 Min Read
After Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses on October 31, 1517, the world would never be the same. The biblical truth that we are justified by faith alone in Christ alone would be heard once again, and lives would be transformed.
Last year, Ligonier commemorated the anniversary of this historic event during its Reformation 500 Celebration. R.C. Sproul, Sinclair Ferguson, Stephen Nichols, Burk Parsons, and Derek Thomas explored the Reformation in brief messages that highlighted the gospel, what it means to have peace with God, the historical setting of the Reformation, and more.
This morning at 10:30 a.m. ET, we’re streaming a special encore presentation of this event. Watch on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube as we remember and give thanks for God’s work during the Reformation.
As R.C. Sproul said, “The five-hundredth anniversary of the Reformation calls for celebration and remembrance lest we forget this event and the doctrinal truths that sparked it.” Surely, the five-hundred-and-first anniversary is no different. We hope you’ll join us and Christians from around the world for this encore presentation.
If you miss the online event, you can also watch all of the messages on Ligonier.org and in the Ligonier app for free.
