John Brown

Rev. John Brown of Wamphray (1610-1679) was the Church of Scotland minister of Wamphray near Dumfries. One of the great theological writers in the later period of the Second Reformation, he also pastored the Scots Church at Rotterdam. He is author of many books, including A Treatise on the Law and Gospel and Godly Prayer and Its Answers.
