Scripture connects faithful Christian living with sound doctrine; thus, the church has always emphasized the importance of right theology for a healthy relationship with the Lord as well as faithful service to Him. This message will explore the connection between creedal and confessional statements and life, reminding us that the purpose of sound theology is to know, serve, and worship God.

One of the foundational truths of the Christian faith is that God has adopted us as children by grace and through faith. This message will consider how the Apostles’ Creed points to God as “the Father Almighty” and how this is based on the Bible’s teaching about God.

In the fullness of time, our heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save sinners, establishing Him as the only Mediator between God and man. This message will provide an overview of Christ’s work of mediation based on confessional statements that point to the fullness of the biblical testimony.

Christ came not only so that we can be declared righteous before God in our justification but also so that we can be set apart from the world unto God’s service in our sanctification.
