Columns from Tabletalk Magazine, December 2014
The December issue of Tabletalk is out. This issue of Tabletalk examines the doctrine of Christ. Before beginning the final part of His earthly ministry, Jesus asked His disciples a question that is the most important question they, or anyone else, will ever answer: “Who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ,” but Peter himself still had much to learn. The Scriptures describe Jesus as a man who is fully human, and yet they also show that He is fully God. The early trinitarian and christological debates revolved around the humanity and divinity of Christ, and this issue of Tabletalk will seek to explain why orthodox Christology, the fruit of these debates, is of great importance for this and every generation.
Contributors include R.C. Sproul along with Sinclair Ferguson, Stephen Nichols, Mark Jones, David Gibson, R.C.Sproul Jr., David Wells, Travis Allen, James Anderson, and Jerry Bridges.
