Columns from Tabletalk Magazine, August 2017
The August issue of Tabletalk addresses questions that skeptics ask about Christianity. In the West, the number of people who claim no religious affiliation is growing. With this growth has come increased skepticism regarding the truth of the Christian faith. The church cannot afford to ignore this reality, for God commands believers to be ready to give answers for our hope when skeptics ask (1 Peter 3:15). This issue seeks to help Christians answer some of the most common questions and objections that skeptics raise against Christianity.
We do not post all of the feature articles or the daily devotionals from the issue, so you’ll have to either purchase the issue or subscribe to get those. But for now, here are links to several free columns and articles from this month:

Here’s a preview of what’s coming up in Tabletalk over the coming months:
The September issue will look at the concept of soul winning with respect to people both inside and outside the church.
The October issue will consider the history and impact of the Protestant Reformation, looking back to our heritage but also discussing how it should shape the next five hundred years of church history (should the Lord tarry).
The November issue will consider the biblical concept of leadership so as to help equip believers to be better leaders and followers in the various spheres of life.
