Anniversary Month: RefNet and 5 Minutes in Church History

This August we're celebrating two years of streaming trustworthy Christian internet radio on RefNet and the first anniversary of our weekly podcast 5 Minutes in Church History. Thank you to the thousands of listeners using and sharing these digital outreach initiatives and for our Ministry Partners who make them both possible.

Two years after launching RefNet we are still working hard to improve your listening experience. We recently added "Ask R.C." in which Dr. Sproul answers frequently asked theological questions. This is a brief segment that helps fill some of the gaps surrounding our regularly scheduled programming. The weekend schedule also received a refresh this month with the addition of a new show, "From the Pulpit," that features some hand-selected sermons from pastors rightly dividing the Word each Sunday. Last Summer we launched 5 Minutes in Church History. This weekly Christian podcast with Dr. Stephen Nichols provides an informal and informative look at church history. Each podcast offers an easily digestible glimpse of how the eternal, unchangeable God has worked in the church over prior generations, and how this can encourage us today.

The reception with which 5 Minutes in Church History has been received exceeded our expectations and we are thankful. It regularly features in iTunes top podcasts list and John Piper has called it "a weekly nugget of gold."

To celebrate its one year anniversary, this week only we are releasing daily shows as Dr. Nichols shares his top 5 favorite moments in church history. If you haven't listened before, this special series is a great opportunity to make 5 Minutes in Church History a regular listen.
