2015 National Conference: Day 3
Today marked the end of our 28th annual national conference, After Darkness, Light. You can see some of the conversation and photos from the past three days by browsing the official conference hashtag #ligcon on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Google+.
Below is a summary and several highlights from today:
The Least of These from Sinclair Ferguson
Sinclair Ferguson opened our final day with a message on the glory of God and the implications this has on how we should treat and think about “the least of these.” His admonition was for us to follow Jesus’ example to love those who are marginalized, poor, disadvantaged, and lost.
It’s Just a Book from W. Robert Godfrey
W. Robert Godfrey explained the significance and role of Scripture in the life of the Christian. He assured us that the Word of God is not just any book, but the living Word of the living God.
Holy, Holy, Holy from R.C. Sproul
R.C. Sproul closed our 28th national conference with a message on Isaiah 6. He addressed the holiness of God—a holiness that requires men and angels to cover their eyes. He called us to return to the vision of God as holy, holy, holy, to repent, and to trust continually in His forgiveness through Christ.
We prefer the shadows where we feel safe over the light which exposes us and causes us to say “woe is me!”— Dr. R.C. Sproul #ligcon— RefBibleCollege (@RefBibleCollege) February 21, 2015
Stay tuned for an announcement on the blog next week when the messages from our 2015 National Conference are available to stream for free. We hope to see you next year, February 25-27, or at one of our upcoming events.
