2015 National Conference: Day 1

Be Not Conformed (Pre-Conference)
Purity in a Digital Age from Tim Challies
Tim Challies began our pre-conference addressing the dangers and blessings of technology. He called us to be responsible with technology. As individuals, we are to put on focus, embrace visibility, and choose self-control. As families, we are to choose education, responsibility, and familiarity.
Repentance & Renewal from Rosaria Butterfield
Rosaria Butterfield continued by telling a story of God's grace: her conversion to Christ. She challenged us to live as a light in this dark world, and helped us to think biblically about sexuality.
Paganism in Today's Culture from Peter Jones
Peter Jones concluded our pre-conference by examining the worldview and fundamental religious convictions that drive modern culture, and demonstrated that in the final analysis, there can be only two religions: worship of the Creator or worship of creation.

Christ's Message to the Church from Sinclair Ferguson
Sinclair Ferguson opened our 2015 National Conference by reminding us of the importance of the Word and prayer. He challenged us with Christ's words in Revelation 2 and prayed that our hunger for the Word and our desire for prayer would increase.
A Puny God from Steven Lawson
Steven Lawson helped us understand the implications of having a low view of God. He pointed us to the Word of God and encouraged us that as we grow in our understanding of God's greatness, we will be strengthened in our day.

No Place for Truth from Alistair Begg
Alistair Begg closed day one of our national conference by examining the cultural context in which we find ourselves and discussing how we should respond to it. Accommodation is not an option—we must be willing to say what the Bible says.
