Reformation Trust Manuscript Proposal Guidelines
We welcome book proposals (not complete manuscripts) that meet the following guidelines.
Please note: Proposals are accepted only in printed form. Proposals submitted via email or on CD will not be considered.
Your proposal must include:
- A detailed outline of the proposed book.
- Two complete sample chapters of the proposed book.
- A complete Author and Book Questionnaire.
- Reference letters from at least two non-family members (preferably church leaders) who know you well and can attest to your Christian character and qualification to write on your chosen subject (unpublished authors only).
If you would like to know that we have received your proposal, we recommend sending your proposal via certified mail.
We will make every effort to respond to your proposal within three months. Be advised that we accept only a small percentage of unsolicited manuscripts.

NOTE: Reformation Trust is not currently accepting proposals for books of poetry or for works of juvenile or adult fiction. Submissions in these categories will not be evaluated and cannot be returned. Reformation Trust publishes a small number of fictional titles for children, but as is true for all our titles, the goal is to teach the deep truths of the Christian faith to young children. Please study our children’s titles for examples of the kind of children’s fiction we publish prior to sending your proposal.
