The copywriter serves Ligonier Ministries full-time by writing content for the broadcasting and marketing departments under the supervision of the editorial department. This position involves writing product and sales copy for ads, product covers, dust jackets, catalogs, and websites, as well as writing various scripts and blurbs for Ligonier's radio and Internet broadcasts. This individual will also attend various recording sessions, and write, edit, and proof other assignments, such as study guides, as needed.
This position requires excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to adapt the written word for various audiences and venues. Ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely and organized manner with excellence is a necessity. A background and training in Reformed theology highly preferred.
