We have been richly blessed by the way the Lord has financially protected Ligonier Ministries this year through these extremely difficult economic times, and I'm sure you have been affected by it in some way. With that said, we as a ministry have made it a major initiative to be good stewards, cutting expenses wherever possible, in order to continue to maximize our outreach.

Year-end is normally the time when we gain the most support from those interested in the advance of reformation theology. This is our hope and prayer again this year as we seek the Lord's provision.

I realize that these are tough times. But in a world that is desperate for spiritual reality, it is urgent for Ligonier to have a strong year-end surge and close the year on target.

We are in the most active part of the year end giving cycle, and based on last year we'll need approximately $600,000 to meet our December budget. So I am asking blog readers like you to do whatever you possibly can to help us be fiscally healthy as we finish 2008 and move into 2009.
