Ligonier is looking for additional developers with a particular skill-set in web applications and database-driven websites. We have a detailed technology roadmap and invite inquiries from gifted individuals who have a passion to see Ligonier’s outreach grow in the next decade.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience developing web applications/database-driven websites
• Experience designing and implementing relational databases using at least one of the following: My SQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle
• Must have a demonstrably strong working knowledge of application architecture, development methodologies, and frameworks
• Ability to dedicate at least 12 hours a week in at least 3-hour increments
• Ability to work remotely with a team, meet deadlines, and communicate issues clearly and in timely manner

Additional helpful skills:

• Understanding and experience with Python and web frameworks associated with it (especially Django) highly recommended
• Experience with Javascript and standards-based HTML/CSS (raw JS, jQuery, YUI, etc.) highly recommended
• Experience with social networking applications, APIs and mashups
• Experience configuring and optimizing Apache servers
• Experience working with source control software, preferably Git
• Familiarity with mobile app development
