John leads the publishing arm of Ligonier, Reformation Trust, working with Director of Publications, Greg Bailey to expand the ministry by offering books that are true to the historic Christian faith.

He also heads up the International Outreach division that is translating Ligonier materials into multiple languages around the world. To-date Ligonier materials have gone into Spanish, German, Ukrainian, Portugese, Chinese, Arabic and other languages with new projects being added regularly.

A native of Greenville, SC, John is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (BA in English). He is a musician (drums, bass, guitar, cello) and has spent many years working in the music industry, composing and producing commercial music and doing character voiceover work. He also served as Christian Education Director for Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN.

"It is a privilege to work alongside R.C. and the dedicated staff of Ligonier. We desire to help the people of God grow in their knowledge and service of Him and to bring light into dark places. The testimonies of strengthened faith and new reliance on the Savior make every day a celebration of thankfulness."

John is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church of America and serves as a ruling elder at St. Andrew's in Sanford, FL where Dr. Sproul is Senior Minister. He and his wife Cindy have four children, Mac, Blair, Knox and Lindsay.

He is fond of fried chicken, 70s funk and old poems.
