At Ligonier Ministries we praise the Lord for the life and ministry of John H. Gerstner (1914-1996). He was Dr. Sproul's primary mentor and served for many years at Ligonier as a resident theology advisor. He excelled in theology, church history, and apologetics, as well as being a renowned Jonathan Edwards scholar.

In 1965 he wrote a helpful, small book entitled Theology for Everyman (Moody Press, Chicago). That book was subsequently republished by Soli Deo Gloria in 1991. It fell out of print and revisited this book here on the blog. Over several weeks we serialized the content and, now that we have posted the complete text, we offer this table of contents:
