The daily headlines tell the ongoing story of earthquake devastation in China and the cyclone tragedy of Myanmar. These are not abstract realities affecting people on the other side of the globe. After Eden, suffering is our common plight. We are frail creatures. It is at these moments we look to a better country (Heb. 11:16).
