In a recent interview with World magazine, Ben Stein says that he does not expect any Oscar nominations for his new film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. Instead, he says, "I think we will be mocked and belittled for this production." This may be the understatement of the year. The reviews that are already being published are bordering on the hysterical. They seem to be most offended at the film's suggestion that Nazism was in any way connected to Darwinism (They may want to consider reading Richard Weikart's extensively documented book From Darwin to Hitler before being so dismissive). They are claiming that it is nothing more than propaganda.
