The Pastor and Ligonier Ministries

March 12, 2008 @ 8:46 AM  |  Posted By: Mel Duncan

"Hello I'm Mel Duncan. I'm with Ligonier Ministries and I work with pastors."

It's something I've said hundreds of times the last few years. It's also something I never get tired of repeating because over the last three years I've encountered pastors from all walks of life serving faithfully in Christian churches who want to tell Ligonier Ministries their story. I love talking with pastors. I would love to hear your story.

Are you a Pastor coming to Ligonier's 21st National Conference this week in Orlando? Well if so, come get to know your church relations and outreach team at Ligonier.

How can a pastor connect with Ligonier Ministries this week?

Attend Kingdom Focused Prayer throughout National Conference
This special time of kingdom focused prayer is a fixture at our National Conferences led this year by our wonderful church outreach representative Pastor Bill Malick. Get to the event site a little early each morning and watch for special prayer times throughout the day. After spending a season of prayer with strangers you may find your mind prepared to absorb good teaching and thought provoking study.

Participate in one of our Friday evening (March 14th) Ligonier Pastor/Leader Seminars
Friday afternoon our church relations & outreach team is preparing an event to talk with pastors and local church leaders about how Ligonier Ministries material can be best used in the local church. We hope to suggest ideas to improve your education strategy and we desire to receive helpful feedback from our friends in ministry. First come first served! Space is limited so sign up at our booth and we'll bring something to eat.

Visit our Church Outreach team at our ministry booth
For several years now Ligonier has been planning ministry events especially for pastors and church leaders. We want to get to know you better, so come by and visit throughout the conference with Pastor Bill Malick or myself and tell us how God is using you in the kingdom.
