J.I. Packer (1926–2020) was an Anglican teacher and theologian whose last teaching position was as the Board of Governors’ Professor of Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was author of many books, including Knowing God, God Has Spoken, and Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God.
