Will we live on earth after the resurrection? Yes, but it will be a new heaven and new earth.
Just to keep the perspective in mind, I’ve said over the years that this world is not our home, but it will be. Of course, it won’t be the same world. It won’t really be as we know it.
We don’t know quite what it’s going to be like, except that it’s going to be absolutely beyond words. I think to try to even describe it begins to ruin it. It’ll be beyond words. And I love looking at creation. I love the mountains, I love the skies, I love the oceans, I love the trees, I love flowers. There will be a complete renovation, and it will be unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
The most beautiful scene we’ve ever observed in all our lives won’t even come close to what the new heaven and new earth will be like.
