  • What We Believe: 2019 Atlanta Conference Conference with Various Teachers

Christianity is not a faith that we make up as we go along. Rather, the Christian faith consists of objective truths revealed in Scripture and understood and articulated throughout the history of the church. Faithfulness to Christ demands that we know, articulate, and defend the essential doctrines of Christianity. On April 27, 2019, Ligonier Ministries hosted a conference in Atlanta. Anthony Carter, H.B. Charles Jr., David Hall, and Burk Parsons considered six of the core teachings of the Christian faith, helping us understand exactly what we believe as Christians and why these doctrines are so important. • He Is Holy: 2019 National Conference Conference with Various Teachers

God is holy, and we’re not. In fact, He’s so holy, His unmediated presence is lethal. Even angels hide their faces and cry, “Holy, holy, holy!” And yet, this holy God has redeemed a people for Himself and has chosen to dwell among them. On March 14–16, 2019, Ligonier Ministries hosted its thirty-second annual National Conference. Joel Beeke, Ligon Duncan, Sinclair Ferguson, W. Robert Godfrey, Steven Lawson, Pepe Mendoza, Sugel Michelén, Albert Mohler, Stephen Nichols, Miguel Núñez, Burk Parsons, Michael Reeves, and Derek Thomas considered the holiness of God and what His holiness means for our lives. • Press On: 2018 Regional Conference Conference with Various Teachers

The Apostle Paul suffered rejection, beatings, imprisonment, and ultimately death as he fulfilled his ministry. Yet he did not become discouraged. On November 9–10, 2018, Ligonier Ministries hosted a regional conference in Lancaster, Pa. Drs. W. Robert Godfrey, Steven Lawson, Albert Mohler, and Stephen Nichols explored key lessons from Paul’s letter to the Philippians. View Resource

  • After Darkness, Light: 2018 Regional Conference Conference with Various Teachers

Five hundred years ago, the church was in crisis. Church leaders were morally compromised, people were largely ignorant of the Scriptures, and man-made traditions were exalted over the Bible. In those days, God raised up the Protestant Reformers to call the church back to His Word and to the truth that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Today, the church is again in need of reformation, which will only come as we remember the insights of the Reformers and apply them to the challenges of our day. On October 5–6, 2018, Ligonier Ministries hosted … View Resource

  • Defending the Faith: 2018 West Coast Conference Conference with Various Teachers

In our post-Christian culture, people are ignorant of basic biblical concepts, and the Christian faith is facing increasing hostility from the government, the culture, and the academy. Our call in such a day is not to be fearful, but to be ready. As Peter tells us in 1 Peter 3:15–16, we are to be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is within us. On June 8-9, 2018, Ligonier Ministries hosted its West Coast Conference in Seattle. W. Robert Godfrey, Steven Lawson, Stephen Nichols, Burk Parsons, Derek Thomas, and Ravi Zacharias considered the challenge of atheism, the truthfulness … View Resource

  • Awakening: 2018 National Conference Conference with Various Teachers

The fundamental problems facing our society are spiritual in nature. Unconverted people will produce a culture that is opposed to our Creator. Believers who have temporarily lost their zeal for Christ will not be effective ambassadors of Him. The only solution is for God to give us an awakening. On March 8-10, 2018, Ligonier Ministries hosted its 31st annual National Conference. Rosaria Butterfield, Kevin DeYoung, Sinclair Ferguson, W. Robert Godfrey, Tim Keesee, Steven Lawson, Albert Mohler, Stephen Nichols, Miguel Núñez, Burk Parsons, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Derek Thomas spoke on awakening in Scripture and history, the means of awakening, the … View Resource
