This session will explore the Great Commission given by Christ to His church in Matthew 28:18–20. It will stress the importance of making disciples, not merely converts, exhorting us to support the work of those who seek to teach people all that Jesus has commanded.

Acts 2:42–47 provides a good summary of what it means for believers to live on mission in the world in faithful communities that bear witness to Jesus. This session will look at this text and explain how we can imitate the early church today by following its lead.

This panel will consider various aspects of what Ligonier is doing in regard to global outreach and will also consider unmet needs around the world.

Without the preaching of the gospel, we have not engaged in actual mission work. This session will explore Romans 10:14–17 and the preaching of the gospel as the essential component of mission work. It will remind us of the power of God’s Word and the necessity of preaching.

This session will exposit Ephesians 1:1–6 by introducing us to Paul the Apostle and explaining how God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. It will further explain how these spiritual blessings are ours not because we chose God, but because God chose us.

This session will exposit Ephesians 1:7–10 by showing us how God has redeemed us, forgiven us, and poured out His grace on us. It will highlight God’s purposes in redemption by explaining how God’s plan is centered in Jesus Christ and the desire to “unite all things in him.”

This session will exposit Ephesians 1:11–14 by exploring the work of the Holy Spirit in believers’ lives. It will explain how He seals our salvation and guarantees it, even as we await the new heavens and new earth.

This session will exposit Ephesians 1:15–21 by explaining what it means to have the eyes of our hearts enlightened so that we might know the full scope of our redemption and the immeasurable greatness of Christ.

This session will exposit Ephesians 1:22–23 by explaining and defining Christ’s authority over the world, but especially over the church. It will consider Christ’s relationship with His people—how He is the head of His body, the church.
