The September issue of Tabletalk considers the purpose and importance of study Bibles, providing an apologetic for their development and use. Study Bibles have a rich history among God's people, and their use has promoted great spiritual growth among Christians through the years. This issue of Tabletalk looks at the history of study Bibles, how and why Christians can use them, and how they can help believers grow in Christ. It provides helpful guidance for taking full advantage of study Bibles and other resources. As an expression of our shared commitment to sound biblical teaching, we will feature several study Bibles, including the new Reformation Study Bible.
