Dear Tabletalk reader:
The Word of God teaches us that we are to do our best to present ourselves to God as workmen who do not need to be ashamed, correctly handling the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15). That is no easy task. Nevertheless, the Lord has given us not only the responsibility to proclaim His Word but the ability to proclaim His Word by the sustaining power of the Holy Spirit.
As Christians, we understand that all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be adequate, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16–17). From beginning to end, Tabletalk magazine is published with these truths in mind. It is our sincere prayer the Lord would use the fallible words in Tabletalk to direct people to His infallible Word.
As the world's most widely circulated subscriber-based devotional magazine, Tabletalk seeks to provide Christians with biblically accurate and doctrinally faithful content, month in and month out. The contributors, designers, and editors appreciate your honest feedback. Although we know only some of you by name, we pray regularly for our readers asking that the Lord would continue to use us to help equip His people for every good work. As you provide us with your considerate feedback, please keep us in your prayers as well. For it is not unto us but unto Him that all glory belongs (Psalm 115:1).
Thank you,
Burk Parsons,
