Since the publication of Darwin’s Origin of Species, there has been a rigorous battle going on between those who believe that God designed the universe and all that is in it and with those who believe that all of life is a matter of random chance events, which merely gives the illusion of a design. Do we have any rational reasons to believe that the perceived design of the universe is actually designed by an intelligent Designer?

In January 2010, R.C. Sproul sat down with noted professor and author Dr. Stephen Meyer to discuss the issues that frame the debate between Darwinian evolutionists and the Intelligent Design movement and the headway that has been gained by the Intelligent Design movement.

Dr. Meyer is author of the book Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design and recently completed the DVD series produced by Focus on the Families’ True U entitled Does God Exist?
