The gospel of Jesus Christ is "good news." It is "good" because it tells the greatest story ever told about how God redeems those who repent and believe in Christ alone for salvation. It is "news" because it is rooted in the historical events of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. In this session, Dr. Albert Mohler will explain why the historicity of the biblical record is essential for the truth claims of the gospel.

Few subjects provoke debate like the doctrine of election. As a result, many struggle to see the value of it for Christian living. Yet from a biblical perspective, the doctrine of election is intended to comfort God's people as well as magnify God's grace. In this session, Dr. Ian Hamilton will show why God's eternal plan to redeem His people for His glory is the basis for the work of Christ as our mediator, the foundation for the historical unfolding of the covenant of grace, and the ground for our hope in the gospel.

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. Although it consists of a collection of sixty-six writings by multiple authors spanning hundreds of years, it is one book with one message of salvation. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals how God saves sinners through His one and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In this session, Dr. Steven Lawson will expound upon how the promise of redemption given throughout the Old Testament is fulfilled in Christ.

Jesus is the eternal Word of God in human flesh. In the opening of John's gospel, we learn that the Son of God became something He was not—a man. At the same time, He remained what He always was—the second person of the Trinity. As the God-Man, Jesus is one person with complete yet distinct divine and human natures. The biblical account of the incarnation raises one of the most important questions ever to be asked: Why the God-Man? In this session, Dr. Stephen Nichols will unpack the central role of the incarnation for understanding the person and work of Christ.

God requires us to be holy as He is holy. As sinners, we deserve to be eternally punished for breaking God's law. To satisfy our guilt before God, we need a substitute not only to die for our sins but also to fulfill the righteous requirements of the law on our behalf. We need a mediator to succeed where Adam failed in keeping God's commands. In this session, Dr. Steven Lawson will detail the significance of the active obedience of Christ in His role as the second Adam and explain why there is "no hope without it."

Christianity centers on the cross of Christ. From the justice of God in dealing with sin to the love of God in sending His Son to die, the cross is the supreme display of the character of God. Through His atoning death, Christ secured eternal life for His people. In this session, Dr. Ian Hamilton will focus on the substitutionary atonement of Christ and the importance of upholding the doctrine of double imputation.

Dr. James Anderson will help Christians identify, evaluate, and interact with non-Christian worldviews.

Tim Challies will address how Christians should think about the value and danger of living in the digital age.

Gregory Koukl will focus on how Christians can defend the faith in everyday conversations.

Tim Keesee will discuss the implications of the Great Commission for all Christians, especially as it pertains to making disciples around the world.

Ligonier Ministries will unveil a statement on the person and work of Christ explaining why this is the most pressing issue that the church faces today and in the next generation.

Without the resurrection of Christ, our hope of eternal life is vanquished. Since we know that Christ has risen from the dead, we have reason for faith and motivation for ministry. The resurrection testifies to the victory of Christ on the cross and the power of the gospel over sin and death. In this session, Dr. Michael Reeves will describe how the resurrection of Christ provides the basis for our faith and gives hope for new life.

The ascension of Christ marks the pinnacle of His earthly ministry, yet it is one of the most underappreciated aspects of His work. Jesus said it would be to our advantage for Him to return to His heavenly Father. From His exalted position at the right hand of the Father, Christ poured out the Holy Spirit upon His people. In this session, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey will explain the ascension of Christ in connection with the work of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of the local church.

We often think of the work of Christ in terms of His finished work on the cross and forget about His present priestly ministry on our behalf. Christ was not only faithful in securing our salvation through His death and resurrection but He is also faithful in bestowing upon us the benefits of our salvation. As High Priest, Jesus both died for His people and continually prays for them. In this session, Dr. Ian Hamilton will concentrate on the ongoing work of Christ in applying the benefits of redemption and interceding on behalf of His people.

The gospel reminds us that we are pilgrims traveling from this world to that which is to come. Jesus promised His disciples that He would one day return to bring them to a place that He prepared for them. It is a place where all things are made new, free of sin and sorrow. As Christians, we seek not fame or fortune but a heavenly city whose builder and maker is God. In this session, Dr. Michael Reeves will provide an overview of the future hope we have as Christians when Christ returns to establish the new heaven and new earth.

The book of Romans outlines for us what the Apostle Paul calls "the gospel of God." This gospel is not simply about God; it belongs to God. The gospel is God's design. It was not the product of Paul's ingenuity or of any other Apostle or prophet. God alone is the author and goal of the gospel. The same God who spoke the world into existence by the word of His power is at work for the salvation of His people through His gospel. In this session, Dr. R.C. Sproul will explain why the gospel of God is both true and transforming.
