Sproul explains why the study of the Bible is the duty and privilege of every Christian.

  In 1938, panic occurred when radio listeners mistook Orson Welles' dramatic presentation of H.G. Wells' story The War of the Worlds for an actual news report. Misidentifying genre inevitably results in a failure to communicate the intended message. Dr. Michael Morales explains why grasping the genre of a text is crucial for understanding its meaning. He also provides examples of the different styles we encounter in Scripture, such as poetry, history, narrative, etc., and briefly looks at the different rules that apply to each.
