When the Foundations Are Destroyed

Although Christian foundations were crucial to the rise of Western culture, those foundations have been under constant attack since the serpent entered the garden. They remain under attack in our day. In this session, Rev. Thabiti Anyabwile will explain the importance of protecting these foundations and examine how Christians should respond to the attacks.

Christ, Kingdom & Culture

Jesus Christ has been seated at the right hand of God the Father, and His kingdom has already been inaugurated although not yet consummated.  How does our understanding of this biblical truth impact the church’s relationship and interaction with the surrounding culture?  In this lecture, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey explores this issue, explaining how we are to be faithful to Christ our King as we await His coming.

The Gates of Hell

Jesus promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church. Gates are a defensive tool, thus the implication is that the church will be on the attack, proclaiming the gospel as a light in a dark world. In this session, Rev. Burk Parsons exhorts believers to remain engaged in the ministry of the kingdom of God, knowing that although the calling is difficult, it will also be won.

The Disappearance of God

G.K. Chesterton once said that when people stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing, they believe in anything. The rejection of Christianity by our culture has resulted in a spiritual vacuum that is being filled by all manner of aberrant teachings. In this session, Dr. Albert Mohler will provide guidance to Christians who are confused by all the falsehoods swirling around them every day.

Statism

The twentieth century witnessed the rise of a particularly despotic form of statism in countries from China to Russia to Germany. What dangers do we face when the state sets itself up as a god? In this session, Dr. Robert Godfrey discusses the dangers of statism and the way Christians should respond when they find themselves in a nation where statism has gained ascendancy.
