Dear Student,
Not every Christian is called to be a missionary; however, every Christian is called of God to make sure that missionary work takes place. We’re all responsible to see to it that the Gospel is proclaimed to every tribe, tongue, and nation, both at home and abroad. By doing so, we are actively obeying Christ’s command to “go” (Matt. 28:18-20).
The most exciting thing for me over the past few years at Ligonier Ministries has been to witness the explosive growth in the worldwide distribution of our materials. We have had doors open that before were closed tightly. Inroads have been made into China, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Ukraine, where we have seen a significant increase in the use of Ligonier materials. We are now able to help Christians in these parts of the world grow in the fullness in Christ.
I’m also excited the way in which the armed forces have been using our materials in the military, not only in the battleground areas of Afghanistan and Iraq but across the seven seas where materials are found in virtually every fleet of the navy and every branch of the military.
