Reformation Bible College Announces New Leadership Roles for Drs. L. Michael Morales and R.C. Sproul Jr.
The growth of Reformation Bible College (RBC) continues to both humble and encourage us. In only a few years, Dr. R.C. Sproul Sr.’s vision to help lead “young people out of the darkness of this culture into the light” has become a reality. But as the college grows, so does the need for capable and faithful leadership.
This week the Board of Directors of Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies announced the appointment of Dr. L. Michael Morales to the position of Chair of the Department of Biblical Studies and Dr. R.C. Sproul Jr. to Rector of Theology and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Theology. In making the announcement Dr. Sproul Sr. said, “I am grateful to God for Drs. Morales and Sproul Jr., and I eagerly anticipate many more years of their teaching and leadership as Reformation Bible College works to help train current and future Christian leaders.”
“[Dr. Sproul Jr.] has seen the impact of Ligonier Ministries from the beginning, knows how I approach theological matters, and in this way, provides us with yet another way to maintain theological continuity and fidelity…” said Dr. Sproul Sr. He continued that Dr. Morales’ “concern to train students in the things of God with a deep love for the truths of God’s inerrant Word…will help guide Reformation Bible College in its commitment to biblical orthodoxy for some time to come…”
In following Paul’s counsel to Timothy (2 Tim. 2:2), it is our commitment to find faithful men who are able to disciple the rising generation in the precious truths of the gospel and the historic Christian faith. By God’s grace, RBC is uniquely positioned to further Ligonier’s mission to proclaim, teach, and defend the holiness of God to as many people as possible.
