It’s the Little Things; OK, It’s the Big Things Too
from R.C. Sproul Jr. Apr 27, 2013 Category: Articles
Sorrow over the loss of a loved one, at least for those of us who trust in God's loving, sovereign care for us, is pretty simple to understand. We don't, when our wife passes, have to wonder what God is thinking. We don't, when our little girl joins her, have to listen to the accusations of the devil that we must have made our Father mad. He knows what He's doing, and one thing He is assuredly not doing is expressing His anger toward us. He loves us as He loves His Son; His anger is no more. But the sorrow is easy to grasp- we miss those who are no longer with us. Keep Reading -
Are There Contradictions in the Bible?
from R.C. Sproul Apr 26, 2013 Category: Articles
Much of the debate on the integrity of the Scriptures focuses specifically on the four Gospels. When you have parallel accounts of something, you expect them to be consistent, particularly if you're maintaining that these accounts are inspired by God the Holy Spirit.

Molinism 101
from Paul Helm Apr 22, 2013 Category: Articles
In recent months and years, an old controversy about the nature of God's knowledge has been re-ignited in certain Christian circles. Heaven Won’t Be Boring
from Randy Alcorn Apr 19, 2013 Category: Articles
The heaven Jesus described is not an ethereal realm of disembodied spirits. A place is by nature physical, just as human beings are by nature physical as well as spiritual. What we are suited for — what we've been specifically designed for — is the place God originally made for us: earth.

Why Right Now Counts Forever?
from R.C. Sproul Apr 17, 2013 Category: Articles
The reason I chose that title for my column was this—we are living in a period of skepticism and pessimism. We are assaulted on every side by the theme of negative existential philosophy that teaches us one of two things: either right now doesn't count at all, or right now counts for right now, and that's all. If right now counts only for right now, that's the same as saying right now counts for nothing.

3 Ways the Gospel Changes Marriage
from Erik Raymond Apr 15, 2013 Category: Articles
We know from the Scriptures that a Christian marriage is never simply a union of two people but two people united together in Jesus Christ. This is another way of saying that Jesus is our head, the Lord and the life-giver of our marriage. When a couple embrace the truth of the gospel, whether in conversion or sanctification, there are always corresponding changes associated with Jesus being the head of the marriage.

How Can an Infinite Hell Be Just When Our Sins Are Finite?
from R.C. Sproul Jr. Apr 13, 2013 Category: Articles
The wisdom of this question, I would argue, is that it gets at the real horror of hell. A lake of fire is a frightening thought indeed. The greater dread, however, is the duration of hell, that it never ends. This, I suspect, is what tempts some to try to tweak the church's historic view on hell, including everyone from John Stott to Rob Bell. Keep Reading
