Ligonier's Next Step

Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies is the encapsulation of everything Ligonier Ministries stands for, and is a natural outgrowth of our decades of teaching Christians to think deeply, critically, and obediently about every aspect of faith by mining the riches of Scripture. For we know that when the Bible is taught clearly, God is seen in all of His majesty and holiness, and hearts are conquered, minds renewed, and communities transformed.

Ligonier Academy currently offers a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree program and adult non-degree certificate programs. In 2011, Ligonier Academy will enroll its first undergraduate classes in four- and two-year degree programs in Biblical and Theological Studies.

In every program of study at Ligonier Academy, students will:

• Engage in a rigorous theological education focusing on the study of the Scriptures in the context of historic Christian orthodoxy.
• Receive instruction from a widely respected faculty of scholars and theologians, led by Dr. R.C. Sproul, who have earned recognition in their fields and hold advanced degrees in their areas of study and teaching.
• Participate in a community of learning populated by serious, like-minded students, bound together by a deep respect for God’s Word.

As unapologetic adherents to the historic Christian faith and keepers of the centuries-old tradition of the Reformers, Ligonier aspires to be a leader in providing education consistent with this heritage, passing along the spirit of the Reformation to our children and the generations to come.
